Meet Our Special Education Coordinator

I am thrilled to be joining the Hyer family as the Special Education Coordinator.  I have 27 years of experience working in the public school setting.  I spent my first 14 years teaching  intermediate and middle school general education and special education math. In 2010, I graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and added my principal and educational diagnostician certifications.  I was an educational diagnostician for 10 years and have spent the last three years as a district level special education administrator.  I look forward to supporting all staff, students, and parents ensuring we are working as a cohesive team for students growth and continued success.
