Principal's Message

Dear Parents,
I am honored to be your principal and am looking forward to another incredible school year in “Hyerville”. We are truly “a neighborhood school with a big heart”! This is evident through the countless volunteer hours of our parents, the partnership between home and school to meet the needs of our students, and the generosity of our families who gift funds to our sweet school to ensure teachers and students have the best resources and experiences.
Each year, our PTA and Dads Club plan many engaging student and family events that build community and relationships between families and staff members. We are so grateful for their vision, focus and commitment to making Hyer the best school. In addition, the students, families, and staff, at Hyer value the history and traditions that continue to be part of what makes Hyer an amazing school.
Hyer Elementary has a long-standing reputation of excellence in meeting students’ academic, social and emotional needs, as well as working collaboratively with parents to ensure the best experiences for all who enter our doors. Parental involvement and support are critical to each child’s success, and your time and dedication to our school is truly appreciated.
The staff and I are looking forward to a wonderful school year with our students and partnership with our parents. If I can ever be of service, please feel free to email or call.
