Huskies Earn Recognition in International Math Competitions

Hyer Huskies enrolled in TAG Math recently competed in Math Kangaroo and Math Olympiad, two international math competitions supported through PC-TAG funding. In Math Kangaroo, second and third grade students competed against more than 60,000 students in the United States and over 6 million worldwide. Ace Narayanan, Peter Shannon, Matthew Tomlin, and Evelyn Howe all ranked in the top 20 in Texas, with Ace and Peter also earning top 20 national rankings. Fourth grade students competed in Math Olympiad, where Knox Waid placed in the top 25% internationally, while Juliette DeBesbombes, Keane Davis, Teddy Dixon, and Avi Truelove also earned strong international rankings. Congratulations to these Huskies on their outstanding problem-solving skills and dedication to mathematics!
