Welcome, Claire to Hyer! We’re so excited that you’re a part of our classroom family!
Have you ever wondered how to make a Gingerbread House? These authors are going to teach you how! We spent some time putting together and designing their own Gingerbread Houses to help them write their own recipe!
We joined with Ms. Harris’ class and did a Holiday’s Book Exchange with some gently used books that we owned in our home libraries. The students would pass their book each time they heard “Grinch” while listening to How the Grinch Stole Christmas! They were thrilled to open up and take home a new, treasured book!
We spent a week studying different traditions that are celebrated around the world. One of the most interesting was St. Lucia that’s celebrated in Sweden. We recreated the Star Girl and Star Boy hats that are worn to celebrate this special occasion!
Putting together Dinosaur Puzzles was harder than you think! These paleontologists are deep in thought.
Students uncovered bones by coloring over an imprint of different dinosaurs.
The students made footprints from the dinosaurs and were able to examine how Paleontologists learn about Dinosaurs by observing their prints in the ground.
We had a blast with our Scientist that came from the Perot Museum to teach us about Paleontology!
Thank you, Mrs. Jodry for being our Mystery reader!
