New Student Testing

Students who are new to Highland Park ISD may be evaluated for the TAG Program once a parent submits an online referral.  Electronic referrals are available on the HPISD website.  Click on Departments, Talented and Gifted, and then Referring a student new to HPISD.  Referrals should be completed as soon as possible and within three weeks of your child's first day of attendance.  Students will be evaluated at Hyer during the school day within six weeks of the receipt of the referral.  Parents will be notified of the campus selection committee's decision by U.S. mail.
