Welcome to Hyer and Highland Park Independent School District! It is my privilege to be the Principal at Hyer Elementary. Hyer has the best of the best, when it comes to staff, students and families. Our huskies demonstrate kindness and compassion for each other, as well as a desire to succeed in all that they do. Each year, our history and traditions, families, staff and students continue to be what makes Hyer an amazing environment for students to learn and grow.

Hyer Elementary has a long-standing reputation of excellence in meeting students’ academic, social and emotional needs, as well as working collaboratively with parents to ensure the best experiences for all who enter our doors. Parental involvement and support are crucial to each child’s success, and your time and dedication to our school is truly valued.
