Happy Friday!

Wow! Another great week filled with learning and fun completed. J Be sure to send your child’s reading log on Monday for Read on Hyer. Enjoy your weekend!

Here’s what’s coming up next:

Sight words: to, up

Reading: making connections to our reading, retelling the beginning, middle, and end of a story, problem and solution

Social Studies: needs and wants

Writing: using a finger space, stretching our sounds to create words, writing multiple sentences

Math: composing and decomposing numbers 1-10, reviewing numbers 11-20 in ten frames, number writing

Color word: review all color words

Handwriting: Vv and Jj  

Science: observing and describing the way objects can move 

 

Check your child’s folder today for a fun outdoor activity due next Wednesday. J Have fun and find as many different leaves as possible!

I’m I the only one who’s ready for a nap?!?!? Halloween and a late night World Series game should never happen in the same week AND on a school night. TGIF!!! Enjoy your weekend and get some rest.

Field Trip Fun

Our first kinder filed trip is almost here! Be sure to pack your child a completely disposable lunch on Wednesday, November 9th. Also, if your child would like to wear their Hyer gear or the Class of 2029 t-shirt (given out on the first day of school) they may do so.

 

Turkey Family Project

Your child is bringing home a fun turkey project to complete at home the due date is set for Tuesday, November the 8th. If you need more time, please have your child bring it one day next week.
