Julie Kilgore, MA, OTR
Occupational Therapist

I attended Texas Tech University and Texas Woman's University.  I graduated with my BS in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University in 1994 and with a MA in Occupational Therapy from TWU in 2000.  I have worked for Highland Park Independent school district since 1994.  I have also worked for Medical City Dallas Hospital, University of Texas, Dallas campus,  and for private Sensory Integration clinics in the Dallas area during my summers and holidays off.   I love working with children and watching them grow!  My main goal is to facilitate independence in my students and to help them be the best that that can be. 

I met my husband, Brett at Texas Tech University and we got married in 1994 after I graduated from OT school.  We have two children Collin and Kennedy.   I enjoy going to my children's sporting events, camping, spending time with family, and taking pictures.

  The OT department serves children ages 3-22. I  work closely with the regular and special education teachers at the schools that I serve.  I am  on the Assistive Technology team and the district Autism Evaluation team.
